Meet David Harris, a distinguished retired Green Beret with a wealth of expertise in special operations. During his dedicated service with the 3rd Special Forces Group (SFG), David served as a Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat Instructor (SFAUC). In his initial two years at SFAUC, he excelled as the primary instructor for close quarters battle (CQB), showcasing his exceptional skills in urban warfare. Building on his expertise, David spent the following two years as the Primary Instructor for Combat Marksmanship within the 3rd SFG SFAUC committee. His commitment to excellence and leadership qualities were evident throughout this tenure, contributing significantly to the training and preparedness of Special Forces personnel. David's military journey commenced in 2003 when he enlisted in the Army as a stinger missile crewman (14S) assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division. Inspired to pursue the elite path of Special Forces, he successfully earned his Green Beret in 2008. Beginning his Special Forces career with Charlie Company, 2nd Battalion of the 3rd SFG, David served for nearly six years as a Senior Weapons Sergeant, demonstrating a remarkable proficiency in handling advanced weaponry.

His dedication to service led him to Bravo Company, where he played a crucial role on the Crisis Response Force (CRF) for six years. David's combat experience is extensive, including deployments to Iraq (1x), Afghanistan (6x), and South Sudan (1x). Beyond combat, he contributed his expertise to training deployments in Ghana and Pakistan, further enhancing the capabilities of both U.S. and allied forces.
